Eye of Ra's colleagues have long questioned how he created this fascinating image. Did he dangle the chain from fine filaments? Use something to pull the chains and erase it in post-production? Or use hollow plastic chains and a wind machine?

In fact there are no magic tricks: the model literally flung the chains behind her while arching her back.  It took several attempts to achieve the dark, ghostly feel of her being strangled by an invisible creature, a slave to a supernatural master.

Though this image resonates strongly with many, it does so for very different reasons. It is perhaps the most open to interpretation of any of PurePossession's artworks.
